Best Practices in Supplier Diversity Award
This award recognizes successful innovation efforts to increase supplier diversity on a project or within a company. The award recipient must provide documentation of a specific problem within their supplier diversity program and outline the tasks taken as well as outcomes. The top recipient will outline the process for improvement clearly and be able to demonstrate an improvement in some aspect of the supplier diversity program.
Business Mentor of the Year Award
This award recognizes a business owner or executive that has developed mentoring relationship(s) with XBE business owners. The mentoring relationship must happen inside of a formalized mentor-protégé program. The recipient of the award will be evaluated based on the depth of impact on the mentee including years of the relationship and self-described impact on the mentee’s business.
This award recognizes a successful joint partnership which includes project success(es) and highlights the nature of the joint partnership percentage, sharing of risk including profits, execution of capabilities by both parties, and leveraging of capacity within the partnership. This award recognizes that there are numerous ways to approach a joint partnership and prioritizes those collaborations.
