Capital Projects: The Value of an Integrated (Lean) Approach

Lean is not a tool; it is a system approach to identifying the activities that add value to a process or a product and eliminate waste.  Lean began in manufacturing in the late 1940s at Toyota but did not enter mainstream vocabulary until the 1990s.  Since then, the methodology has evolved, becoming a way we can approach improving processes in business operations, design, and construction.  Using a Lean approach successfully is not possible without integration, transparency, and collaboration!

Please participate in this unique ICR event where we will take a hands-on approach by reviewing Lean principles, learning in a true, round-table fashion, and discussing how the Lean approach is currently impacting projects in Indiana!

The November ICR Educational Event will be held Thursday, November 10 at Indiana Landmarks, 1201 Central Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Registration and networking opens at 7:30 a.m. The program will run from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. and include time for Q & A. Don’t miss this informative session. Register Today!
