This year’s keynote speaker, Tony Kanaan, Indianapolis 500 champion, entrepreneur, and longtime Indianapolis resident, will share reflections on his racing career, leadership lessons learned at the highest levels of competition, and the importance of developing a strong connection to the communities we call home. Drawing from his experiences on and off the track, Tony will discuss teamwork, perseverance, and how a strong sense of place can shape both personal and professional success.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in two engaging panel discussions designed specifically for construction industry professionals.
Our Owners Panel: What Construction Users Expect from Their Construction Partners will bring together project owners and construction users to share perspectives on current priorities, project delivery challenges, and what they value most in successful project partnerships.
New this year, the Building Team Panel: Perspectives from the Building Team will explore how the many pieces of a project come together to create successful projects and lasting places. Representatives from various stages of the construction process—including preconstruction, subcontractors, general contractors, and other key project partners—will discuss collaboration, communication, and lessons learned from their unique viewpoints.

The day will conclude with a networking reception featuring live music, providing attendees with an opportunity to continue conversations, strengthen relationships, and connect with fellow industry leaders in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.

ABOUT OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Tony Kanaan, a Brazilian race driver, is widely regarded as one of the most successful drivers in IndyCar series history, including 2004 IndyCar Champion and 2013 Indianapolis 500 Winner.
Tony is the only driver to lead the Indianapolis 500 in each of his first seven starts and won his first race on his 12th attempt. He also remains the all-time series record holder with 318 consecutive starts made through Portland in 2001 and the first race of the 2020 season at Texas. Kanaan has a total of 17 career race wins and 15 pole positions in the IndyCar Series.
In May 2023, TK raced in his final Indy 500 after 22 years and a total of 25 seasons in IndyCar. Currently, Tony oversees competition and performance as Team Principal for Arrow McLaren’s NTT INDYCAR SERIES team. Kanaan’s transition from a celebrated driving career to a leadership position within the team marks a significant milestone in his professional journey.
Tony has been a fan favorite in the series for decades and always maintains one of the largest followings on social media in the series. Outside of racing, Tony enjoys traveling, spending time at home with his wife, Lauren, and their four children. He is a dedicated runner and cyclist who has competed in several triathlon, half-Ironman and Ironman competitions, finishing most recently the 2022 Ironman under his previous time. Kanaan also spends time supporting numerous charities in his native Brazil and his adopted hometown of Indianapolis.
