Join ICR for our next educational event “Indiana’s Economic Development Ecosystem: Past, Present, and Future” on July 10 at the Indiana Landmarks.

Indiana has developed tremendous momentum in encouraging existing and new businesses to invest and grow in our state. This event will look at a variety of aspects including, how can we keep the momentum moving forward, where have we been successful, and where can we improve? Panelists will be from key areas across the state representing communities from the north, south, and central Indiana regions. ICR is excited to connect our members to these community and economic development leaders and looks forward to meaningful conversations that will take place during this event.

Jennifer Pearl
Bloomington Economic Development Corp.

Jennifer Pearl has been a part of the Bloomington regional community since 2007. She has family, work, and educational ties across the region. She came to BEDC from the Indy Chamber, where she served as Director of International Programs, overseeing the implementation of the Metro Indianapolis Global Trade & Investment Strategy for the nine-county metro region.

Before that, Jen was a Senior Consultant with North Head, a public affairs and strategic communications agency based in Beijing, China. She conducted policy analysis and public affairs campaigns for multinational clients doing business in Asia and trade across international markets.

She has strong ties to Indiana, having managed global partnerships for five years at the Indiana University School of Public Health. Jen began her career at National Public Radio in Washington, DC. She is an alumna of Indiana University, where she received her Master of Public Affairs and Master of Arts in East Asian Studies, and Syracuse University.


Chad Kline
Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.

Chad Kline is the Director of Economic Development for Greater Fort Wayne, Inc., where he supports initiatives focused on business attraction and retention, workforce attraction, and site readiness to support long-term area growth in Fort Wayne and Allen County. Prior to this role, he served for eight years as Executive Director of Wells County Economic Development, where he led community-driven efforts to retain and expand local industries, housing and broadband development efforts, and downtown revitalization.

Chad is deeply engaged in public service and professional advocacy. He serves as President of the Norwell Community Schools Board of Trustees and is a member of the Board of Directors for BuyBoard, a national purchasing cooperative. He is also an active member of the Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA) and the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA), contributing to both organizations through service on their legislative committees.

Katie Culp is CEO of KSM Location Advisors, Katz, Sapper & Miller’s national site selection and incentives consulting practice. Katie has negotiated over $1.5 billion in incentives and has worked with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small, privately owned firms. With more than 25 years of economic development experience in 48 states, Katie understands the regional differences influencing location decisions. Prior to joining KSM Location Advisors in 2015, Katie led Cassidy Turley’s (now Cushman & Wakefield) national Location Advisory and Incentives Practice for 10 years. She has also led economic development efforts in central Indiana for organizations such as The Indy Partnership/Indy Chamber, Boone County EDC, and the city of Indianapolis.
